Anyone ever had a fake Talisman tip?

I put a fair few tips on for people and stuck one on for a mate the other day and he he restocked me with one when he caught up with me.

The Talisman's I normally buy (usually from ADR147) are great tips, domed and tall enough to take down to your preferred height.......no probs.

The one I was restocked with (by the way not from ADR147) looked the same bu was shorter and was square at the top so did'nt have a dome, it still said Talisman soft on the bottom.

Just wondered if this was a problem anyone else had or if there were other Talismans out there I hadn't come across?

They come in dome or flat top.

there are also lots of fakes - trade price is now about £10 plus vat for 3 so if they are under a fiver each I would be very careful!

Had a few fakes lately that people have supplied to be fitted and yes, they are all too cheap compared to normal prices.

I was using talisman for about a year, all was well until I had problems with delamination. It happened twice in a row for 2 new tips so I switched to ADR. Shows that there could be problem even though they are authentic.

where did you buy them? so i can avoid making the same mistake.

the 10mm ones can come apart not usually the 11mm ones
