I am sure I have seen Ronnie's cue with a joint in the butt, ... maybe wrong - anyone definitively know?
I am sure cuemakers can adjust the weight in the cue to compensate for the butt-joint to maintain a balance point required.
I have also seen Ronnie, when he uses a push-on extension and he likes it he will - himself - put the extension to the floor under the table so he will use that one again.
I thought like you Dean, sure I'd seen Ronnies cue got the sd joint fitted. Looked at one of his coaching videos and at the start you can just about see it has the joint. It's not clear but it's definitely not a leather pad.
Hmm hang on, I thought you were saying splash was right answer, reading it again I see you were meaning he was the ridiculous one, in that case sorry lol
Well that's just made me laugh....maybe you two should get a room now.

My friend's mum couldn't work out why her Hoover attachment no longer fitted the machine, so sawed off the end. It was actually her son's push on extension for his cue. He wasn't best pleased.
