    Sorry, maybe a stupid question

Does the different colours of chalk ...... For example Master Chalk, Black, white, red, green... etc.

Is just the different on colours OR the colours represent different type of quality/grade ?

I have spoken to Tweeten about this and they confirm that the main ingredients used in their Master/Triangle/Pro chalks are different to a certain extent but the colourants are the same.
Now, what I have found is that the different colour in the same range does make a difference; for example we all know that Triangle blue is very different from Triangle Green - slightly softer, dustier and leaves more marks on the cue ball, etc.
Tweeten did confirm that colour does change the characteristics of the chalk in each range.

I got my silver cup and seeing the label...
I have tried it before but only the black, which I really liked but left lots of black dots on the cue ball, which people didn't like...
        So stopped using it..
        Like the green so far..
For that one you've always wanted...

That's what I don't understand: if the chalk on the CB is visible, then it can be cleaned etc. When it isn't, then people assume it is clean......

Sounds like a massive difference to the Pewter?

only what we all know really, like the blue is dustier and looser than the green; the spruce is tighter and less dusty than the green

Well I had more kicks from the triangle Pro, than any other chalk I've tried and will not use it again

Not sure anyone has it yet in UK. I contacted Taom using Facebook and they said to email them to order.

It is crazy, just took my eye as a pool player on Facebook was saying it was so good and then Matt Selt on Twitter gave it the thumbs up. From Taom it's 15 euros but still plenty for a block of chalk.
