Tips like Moori,Kamuri,Tiger,LE Pro,Hercules are useless for snooker.Talisman Pro soft & Mike woolridge tips are also good. But in my opinion Elkmaster are the only worthy ones out of these all for snooker.

umm - it is all about personal choice - different people like different tips. - personally i will never use another elkmaster.

I don't suppose you have or know of a reputable seller of the talisman pro soft tips? i fancy trying one out.

How do they compare to the mw layered tips?

ha, sorry, I did say "you" or "anyone", perhaps it wasn't clear, i'm no good with a keyboard. How do i get one from you? when you say similar, i found the mw a bit too hard, will this be the same case with the talisman?

Depends actually which Talimans u're talking about, I personally use the "hard" ones & they've been working nicely for me

Not sure about the brand of tips I use. I prefer hard tips to soft.

My problem is I hit the ball too hard. Its a bad habit I've always had. As a result my tip needs changing every few months. Whats most frustrating is when my tip is so worn down I'm mis-cuing on screw shots thats when I play with the most fluency. This make me put off changing the tip and leads to more mis-cues!

                              hi,

was using o'min (red) tips for sometime and wondering if
                              (a) they have a brownish version? what is the difference?
                              (b) how hard it is versus the talisman pro soft.

personally I felt the o'min red tips are fairly poor in terms of grip (even after scruffing, sandpaper, blah blah) ! I had tried various american 9 ball layered tips from Taiwan and they fare much better.
