Hi,
I've recently fitted an elkmaster to my cue to give it a go as i've heard good things about them.
I'm a regular pool player and an occasional snooker player and last night found the tip a bit too soft for snooker (felt a bit like a jelly tot to be honest) and i couldn't seem to do a lot with the cue ball, is there any way i can harden it up?
I have seen people press their tips - what is this and how is it done, how does it effect the tip?
I've tried MW layered tips and found them to hard, and i also can't seem to find a good blue diamond.
Any advice people? i just need a tip i can feel comfortable with?
thanks in advance,
Dan
