Are cases supposed to be waterproof?

If you are having trouble with stuff not being waterproof try treating it with Repel by Diver Dave, it'll water proof just about anything!

I use it on my floatation suits for fishing, it's cracking stuff that'll cause water to bead right off. Just test it on an inconspicuous area first.
