So the jerk who thought Sanman was joking ends up buying it. You couldnt write it... : )
Quick question - do you think ROS is still using an Elk? It looks a little different to me.
PS - have you noticed he seems to have rubbed the grain filler out of the section of his cue that his chin rubs?
I’ve noticed that too with a few of the players cues.
I don’t think it’s his chin rubbing that’s doing it as it stops in a perfect line and goes all the way round the cue.
Does anyone know why some players do this on their cues?
His cue has been like that a few years now, just wear and tear with the amount they practice and play. If you go to stamford cues site they have a gallery showing how worn ding and selby's cues were before they got extended and refinished.

I’ve seen them galleries and that was general wear & tear.
It’s quite shocking that most pro’s don’t know the first thing about cue maintenance. Ding’s cue even had a hole in it!
But I think there’s more to this then that.
If it was the chin causing it the wear would only be on the bit where he holds his cue, but it’s not, it’s all the way round.
Even Trump’s cue has it and his cue is fairly new
Back on track to the topic, I've just ordered another 2 blocks Marc! I know the two i just bought will last for ages based on my first session with it but you can never have too much of a good thing! Seriously guys, buy this chalk before I snatch it all up! Lol!
