I put one on for John Higgins recently before the China open, he came back just before the world to get a normal black kamui m/h on his cue, said they clear went too hard and started making a clicky noise he didn't like on certain shots. I don't think it's a great idea the plastic pad, there is nothing for the glue to properly grip to, I know when he was going to China with the clear Ryan day asked him to bring a tip over for him as his clear had just pinged off his cue while practising

He been using normal black kamui for about the last 10 years, had a spell at start of the season where he was trying century but couldn't find any he liked, put kamui back on before the Scottish and he hit a max first game with it, kamui sent him prototype 11mm clears, he tried m/h said far too hard, came back about 2 hours later and got a medium on, at first he said it was unreal but as I said after china decided it was too hard as well and didn't feel good with it, kamui defo the best tips for john
