Are Chalk pouches any good ?

  • #2
    Yes!

You don't ruin your trouser! And that annoying click, click is gone for good!

And the people who leave their chalk on the table, P--- me right off!

    Yea they are good.

Yep, I like them too. As the poster said, they don't ruin your jeans/trousers and aren't as annoying as those magnetic click on holders.

          Now that is agood question?

Why in gods name is that a matter of importance?

Just because you have one, the balls don't fall in by themselves. (pity)

they are effective in that they can save your pockets wearing too quickly or becoming discoloured. not seen many pros using them in practise.

i dont used them as i prefer just to use my pockets, and wash my trousers/jeans each wear, and put extra *** liquid on the green stain. and if they wear, i buy new ones

each to their own. some love them, some cant be bothered with them. theyre not costly, so easy to buy and try and if not liked, bin or give to someone who may use it

ok np, Do you think that it is easier to access your chalk if it is in a chalk pouch rather than a pocket ? some pockets are quite deep !

Personally, I think having a chalk pouch enables me to flow more round the table and get some rhythm going. Strange as it sounds, but I don't feel anywhere near as comfortable when I don't use it.

But that's just what I'm used to and it's my personal preference.

The only thing I dont like with them is when the chalk digs into your body when you are stretching to reach a shot. The amount of times I've done that, I never learn to put the chalk on the table. I guess it depends where you wear the pouch, I wear mine on the front slightly to the left. I see a lot of players use them, and some pros.
