Hi
I'm going to buy a new tip and I wondering if Mike Woolridge's super tip is the best one?
#Age: 22 HB#: 82 #Cue: Mike Wooldridge Vintage Cue # Tip: Mike Wooldridge BlackSpin #Best performance in tournament: Semi-final in an "open to all" Swedish tournament 2015, Swedish U16 tournament champion October 2007 #Current rank in Sweden: 15
The tips out there at the moment ain't that great, Elks and Blue diamonds.
Its a bit of hit or miss if you find a good one or not!
I've been playing with one (super tip) on and off for a year now and I'm always going back to it now.
So I'd say that it is the best tip out at the moment.
Hope that helps!
SB
I now use the super tip and I love it plays like its been on your cue for months from the first hit, I will never go back to the Elkmaster tip you never know if you got a good one
Same here i would never use another tip now i have used a wooly super tip they are superb and highly consistent, before these i would re-tip my cue and need a week to get use to the 'feel' of it, now i can re-tip my cue just before i go down the club on a friday and i know how its going to be, brilliant!
The supertip is more expensive than Blue Diamond and Elkmaster, but is it worth the extra money? You get what you pay for?

Could you please tell me if mike's cue tips are hard or soft? I'm gonna try them, but postage wilt cost several times more than cue tips. Actually I like a bit softer than a medium.
thanks
Sure it is But we don't have a choice. We'll try to order more at once, so it'll reduce a pcs price. So why I'd like to know if it more soft than hard. You can compare to blue diamond or moori, i really know what are they. Thx
I use Mike's laminated tips for pool. Used Mike's pressed tips before which are fantastic but too soft for me. His laminated tips last forever and are well worth the extra.
Woolridge super tips are the best pressed tips.Very less throw and deviation on the cueball.I tend to hit across the ball sometimes and these tips have helped me a lot in my game in accurate striking. They are slightly expensive for a pressed tip but they are worth it.
