why would they have 9mm elks in north america - make sure they are genuine - if you are not sure i am happy to post some.

Aren't Elk Masters made in the US? So there probably is a small supply of them out here.

I'll probably make the purchase for these soon, but I do wonder: how would I be able to tell if they are genuine or not?

hard to tell - you need to trust the supplier. but yes they are made in the usa
