Triangle seems to stick to the tips I've used better than other I've tried. I'd be amazed if anyone said different.

I Dont care about makes of chalk but i prefere the Green Chalk.....why? dont ask me but for some reason it sticks to the tip better....the blue chalk most of it ends up on the cloth lol

Yep, no question Green Triangle.

All the pros use it. It applies easy and lasts ages. Why bother saving 10p a block for some cheap dusty rubbish like you get in some pubs for the pool tables. It just sticks to the cueball and messes up the cloth. Theres no need for anything but Green Triangle.

Green Triangle chalk. It is of course, the best, it grips the cue ball the best, it is made so it isn't too powdery, lots of experience in the company Tweetens, it is the best colour, green, you can buy blue but green is better, and it doesn't stick to the cue ball or the cloth too much.

Don't buy the other chalks, whatever they are wheather they are the Argos special or whatever! There are many other fake chalks out there which are no good, buy the Green Triangle, the best and most reliable chalk! Which all pros use!

I have used the chalk ever since I started playing and have never used a different brand since, but I've seen others and they are not good, Green Triangle chalks are a good price and can last a good length of time.

Yes, this is pretty much the most simple, easy to answer question on TSF lol, a valid one though! As I believe that American 9 ball players often use blue chalk, maybe because the play on blue tables...

I bought a small box of them when i started playing at around 14 years old. I'm still on the same box now 24 years later lol.

I use green triangle and my mate uses green master. He says it works better for him on his Talisman tip.

has there ever been a sucessful snooker player who didn't use green chalk?
I can only think of Kirk stevens who was using red chalk at one stage in the 1980's.

You use the colour that match the cloth. End of story. I've played with grey, red, blue, green and even black chalk and I can honestly say that there is no difference what so ever.

As for the brand of chalk, I use both Masters and Triangle. There is very little between them.

You are allowed to use other colours. I think I saw John Higgins using a blue chalk not long ago...

Yeah, I never liked it either. I use triangle on Elks but my mate says master's great for his Talisman.
