i hope it is as good as the other maple one i own which
was made for dominic to use for 2 years
and the double chedder case he owned
the workmanship in the cue is staggering
Just curious: if the cue is that good , the workmanship is that wonderful and the maple is professional quality why are you ordering a new one? Unless, you've also been struck by the dread affliction... Russellitis?!?

        hi keithinfrance
the reason for ordering another one is that dominics is 16.5oz and 58 inches 10.6mm tip 12 inches down is 15.2mm and no butt joint-fits snugly in doms old double chedder classic case
my new one is 58.5/8 long 18 oz 10.6mm tip 12 inches down 15.2mm and has a butt joint as i dont want to spoil the other cue by adding weight and butt jointing--maybe if i dont like my new cue i might consider more weight and add a butt joint

Those are good reasons, I have to say. I've already made the mistake of changing a cue I liked in the past and it never played the same after. Much better to do what you're doing.
