You cannot fit a 1 piece in a Elise, I know i have tried

But you can get a 1 piece in a classic Mini

              A Bugatti Veyron'd take one I think.

is it good when its midengine and the cue gets warm?

Innit a bad idea to walk with your cue in a Porsche centre and say them: Hey guys! Id take your jalopy if my cue fits in it! No, I think a bad idea :P

I know a few people walking in the Porsche centre with their golf bag trying if it will fit in.
                    Why not with a cue?
Or as alternative a roof luggage rack on a cayman?
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

oldgit has a cayman ask him - i can say you can put a one piece cue easily in the following cars because i have done it.

                      aston martin DB9
                      porsche 911
                      ferrari 575

So margin on cues seem not to be too bad...
Or you have just rich customers and/or friends...
