pretty similar badge Mellow Yellow, yes. Did you have any issues with the cue itself?
Thing is, he's obviously bought it through Craftsman as it's got a Craftsman sticker on it, so I'm pretty sure it was just an innocent mistake. He specified 'no returns' when he sold it, but i dunno if i'd qualify for a refund from PayPal. If i sold both the cue and the case on, i might make my money back i suppose.
Alternatively, i could just try the cue and see how i get on with it. I'm not a great player, so it's not likely to make much difference if it's a real Craftsman or not to be honest. This one has a much better tip and finish to it than my current cue.
just been to have a little knock with it - just playing in the tip really. Seemed to do the job. Like i say, i'm not a great player so it was never gonna make much difference, but i put together an 8-ball break, which is as good as anything i've had this season, so it's certainly worth giving it a go i think.
If i get £25 from selling the case, the cue will only have only cost me £25 effectively.
How do you know it's a fake? Did the snooker gods tell you in a dream or am i missing something obvious like the badge is wrong? (no experience with parris cues just wondering what makes you instantly know)
Maybe the talent is being able to communicate with the snooker gods? The only way i can communicate with them is by watching the outrageous flukes my friend seems to have a nack for... there again i did pot a blue in the middle pocket off 2 cusions earlier... blue was about 3 inches off of the middle of the baulk cusion... i suppose they were telling me something... still lost the frame on the pink though
