I find that Jon Parris makes really good and fancy cues and are one of the best cues in the world ever made ...But the wood he uses or maybe they re not cured enough aren't compatible for this Canadian weather .....I don't know one cue of Parris cues that are straight when they've been in Canada for a while ..Sure they are beautiful fancy cues but not for the harsh Canadian weather. ...The best cue around here are the ones that are Canadian made with solid Canadian wood ..Wood that won't warp after 2 weeks .. I have deroo cue ,awesome cue well worth the money ...Gauthier is a classic and Marcel Jaques is pioneer of cues...All these cues have one thing in common Simple and straight ...Am just saying !...thanx

HI Snookerbum thanks for the comments on Tom Gauthier Cue these cues are stiff great hit the one that i got i would not sell it. I showed it to Cliff Thorburn and he told me years ago these cues were selling over $1000.00 on the Hong Kong Market and prices of these cues are going up

Also i am happy that you like the Marcel Jacques Snooker Cue that i sold you as these cues are very hard to find as Marcel Jacques passed away seven years ago. Players like Bob Chaperon Alain Robidoux and also Fern Loyer play with these cuess cheers Leonard from Montreal Quebec Canada

I found a guy in Salmon Arm BC who can duplicate a Gauthier shaft. I had him make me am 11mm. My eyes are not what they used to be and I need a bigger contact. I may be wrong but I think I got my Gauthier in 1980
