    Yes Keith, I remember it very clearly.

    It was and still is the most hidously boring off-white colour, with absolutely no figure or grain of interest worth noting. To say it came as a disappointment to Archalf1471 would be an understatement.

    It's pants.

            looking thru the web i found this the most expensive and (legally obtainable) wood comes from a batch of curly (fiddleback) maple from the north country this is a virgin timber, from canadian forrests,it was originally harvested neary 2 centuries ago. and was lost in lake superior when logging ships sunk in a storm it is now being recoverd by specialized salvage companies-having been perfectly preserved in its icy depths. i also mentioned agarwood earlier in the thread a single tree can go for hundreds of thousands of dollers. but it cant be used for cues.
