What is the point of a practice cue? Would a pro use a different cue for practice? Seems odd to me, more like an over priced signed cue

Could't agree more Mark, Never heard of a pro player using a practice cue, defeats the whole object of having a cue.

Looking for a rich Chinese business man, whos not too savvy me thinks?

The sales pitch could be, because if you look at the pictures, written on the box it says "training cue", which may mean Ron played more than one shot with it to try a slightly different spec? Lots of players have done that, but it doesn't warrant ownership of a cue in any way.

He may have used it and the fact his fingers have been on it may be enough for a silly rich punter? Just thoughts....

I think the closest he got to the cue was when he was paid a hefty sum to write on the case.

I saw on the same website that they were selling Ronnie's signed waistcoat from the world championships 2020 for ?16k. Then I saw it was numbered, and was the #6 waistcoat he wore in the tournament. Even more sus than the practice cue

These things aren't always what they seem, a while ago there was a cue being sold alleged to be Jimmy's (the one he made the crucible 147 with) except it wasn't genuine and I gather it disappeared when they were challenged on it
