  • Thee Old Ash cue

    Hi :
have anyone own or hit with a Dave Coutts Cue Thee Old Ash cue before?? How does it hit?? If compare with Dave's normal ash cue or Trevor white ash cue?

Haven't played with one but was at Dave's house last week and saw one in the rack. Very nice looking cue and almost perfectly straight grains in the ash.

This name was given to ash used by Dave Coutts in making a cue for David Smith of Cues'n'Views because the ash had matured for over 3 years before becoming a cue! That's the only difference between one of those cues, one of his 'normal' cues and one of Trevor's. You can't really compare them as each piece of ash is totally different anyway! Best thing to do is ask the cuemen themselves if they can provide a specific kind of ash, can they provide the feel you're looking for?
