  • New Sabetta & Gusmeroli 050

Been a long time since I've posted. I have this coming in bound from Massi so thought I'd share it. May also have another couple cues in the works in the future but this is it for now. I also have a Tony Glover cue I've posted in the past but not sure if they're still around. Let me know if you want to see this. Have a Mike Wooldridge also and a Robert Osborne cue I smashed up and had repaired by Mike Wooldridge also.

Sold too many other cues in my lifetime but sort of re-collecting again.

I really like the look of their cues .

What are they like to deal with ?

I've not heard how they play either , has anyone got one that can advise ?
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Hi Neil, long time. Massi is quite good to deal with. As with most cue makers, emails can be a little patchy at times but I have generally found him to be very responsive.

I'm generally quite a nightmare to deal with when it comes to custom spec cues and have tried to refrain from making constant spec changes. The only change I made was in ferrule size but this was very early on with reference to when I placed the order.

I did specify jet black ebony and even splicing as a condition of placing the order and Massi was happy to take this on and based on these pictures, it looks spot on.

His prices have since gone up from when I placed my order in January 2021 but I think his cues still represent great value for money - I imagine they will only keep increasing. Never tried one but was curious how good he was and he seems to be getting popular at making cues for the some of the boys on the circuit so lets see how this plays.

Shotgun_25 - I was going to ask you if you know this maker? They are a member but have not been on for a while.

Mark Allen used one of the S&G cues for a short while if I remember correctly. They are generally very good aesthetically and good players too from what I have read.

Yes, he could not adjust to it. A post about him playing with the cue.

i was aware he switched to using one of Massi's cues but was unaware he had changed/reverted back to another cue.

                          Hello all

I have recently seen a cue on Fb by this maker. What are everyone’s thoughts on them now?
