Bagged a bargain there. First cue or just a change?

Just a change. My first cue was a cue craft maverick that came free when joining the pool club. Then I got a carbon English eight ball cue.
I've not been playing snooker long before lock down. I started with a very cheap no brand one which was useless. Then I ordered a used Abby billiards cue off someone... Which I didn't like either.
Then I ordered a cue soul from Amazon. Which is a good cue but I didn't expect it to be varnished. (My dad has one that isn't varnished and a lot higher quality than mine.)

So when I saw thing it seemed like a very good upgrade for the price. It really does feel like a good bit of wood.

The cue butt is from the cheap nasty cue. I used it for some slice experiments.

I've put an elk on the cuecraft as a temp tip. I've got an ADR lamb skin coming in the post.

The ADR pressed tip is the best. My favourite atleast.

Good to hear. I've tried a few random layered tips. Didn't really get on with them. Much prefer elk master and century tips.
really looking forward to trying it.
