Reasonable Priced Cue for returning player

I am a returning player after 15 years away from the sport. I played in local leagues and use to have a handmade cue fitted to me a long time ago.

So I am now starting to play again, but just at my local snooker place with friends, but I need a new cue as I don't have my own anymore.

What I am looking for is a recommendation for companies for reasonable quality cues but not at high prices as I am not that good or playing enough anymore.

I have looked on Ebay and you get all the usual rubbish but not sure who to look for.

I would like to pay no more that £100 and I know to some that is not much, so be gentle.

Highly recommend this site as two young players I know purchased the whole package deal here and they are great starter sets and you can combine all extns etc.

Looked at those and not bad price but weights on most see heavy at 20oz.

I see a few 17.5-18.5 ozs. I bought one of the aluminium cases a couple of years ago. Great value and quick delivery. Not as “bomb proof” as the Cue Craft cases but a very nice case. Would buy another one in a heartbeat.
