  • Which Snooker Cue would you recommend me

I'm an intermediate player who plays regularly, I need a new snooker cue and would like one that is hand-made and within a budget of £350-ish.
The cue I would ideally like is the JP Majestic (https://www.parriscues.com/majestic-cue.html) but I simply cannot afford this.
Can anyone recommend a good quality cue that would last me a life-time, one that is handmade/hand-spliced 3/4 snooker cue, ash shaft with an ebony butt.

If you're in UK, You can talk to Stu from Greenbaize and try some cues in their shop and choose the one to your liking. ADR here also has some nice cues on ebay, you can message him here too. I recently ordered from Ton Praram Thailand, Thai cuemakers can bill it lower for declaration to customs, so you can save some money there if customs are high in your country like mine.

Edit: I have seen a couple of recent Parris cues, both played very stiff and dead although I like cues on the stiffer side. Plus the wait list there is 3y for 3/4 cues and 5+y for 1pieces aaannd the price def. >350GBP.

Gavin 'G-Cues' Mengham is a cue maker in our area, just north of Portsmouth. He is highly recommended.

You could get a nice Maximus cue in that range, they're meant to be decent cues.

The precision cues I sell are the best value for money in this price bracket.

I have switched from a 3/4 JP Traditional to a 1 piece Asia cue. Taking some getting used to but workmanship wise the Asia cue feels far superior. Stu at Green Baize is your man
