Tip ??

Hi newbie here, ive got a cue that needs a new tip. The ferrule is 9mm so do I need to buy 9.5mm tips or 10mm then shape ?

Tips are very subjective to personal preference

Size of course you can fit any tip that it the same or large and trim down!
NEVER fit a small tip than the ferrule - I have seen this once and it was awful!
and of course the exposed ferrule can damage the cloth and the balls.

My current preference is a Mike Wooldridge SuperTip (great feel and keeps the chalk (Tweenten Triangle Spruce) very well)
