  • Paragon parris cue

Hi how much would someone recommend putting a custom paragon cue up for sale? Cue is 14 years old but only been used maximum of like 15 times.

It will depend on spec, is it 1pc or jointed, ash or maple etc.

I'd say given current prices and waiting list, a 1pc ash paragon in very good condition would be fetching at least £1200 in today's market.

On the Parris website, one piece ultimate is £2K + now.

Any ideas about a 20yo 3/4 JP 56” Regency rg?

56" cues never get good price, plus as it's from standard range of parris cues, they also don't tend to sell as well as the most popular models such as traditional (Ronnie model).

However, are you sure of the authenticity of this regency model? There is no chance that model has been around 20 years, maybe 12 years because along with sterling and majestic models they were added to the range and certainly were not around 20 years ago.

Interesting to know. Originally the length was 57, and this player said he bought it back in early 2000s.
Do you know when the red glue was discontinued?

Thanks for that fella’s, so that would add up cus it’s a rg Regency so around 2002 would be correct…

Hold on! Just had another look, it’s a 56” Regal 3/4 rg from 2000.
                    Any difference?
Apparently they only came in 57” length.

AH HA! a Regal - they appeared, along with a few other models, around 1996, so 20yo works now
