Could be!! But if it's a Master cue then it's supposed to be Kingwood. However...

I think it's the Master Cue Ex2, ebony butt with 4 lower splices in Kingwood over blue veneers. It looks really like the ones I've seen and the one on their web site.

Macassar ebony butt with tulip wood front splice and satin wood veneer.

Arrr the Burwat champion is finest ever design for a cue.

Dave Coutts is currently making me a cue in the above style.

Thanks for the replay. I thought its Kingwood. no, its not Master cue it's an old O'min - before they started to put name discs on their cues.
the kingwood is not the best quality but the cue is very nice player.

And that's what counts the most! It's true that we all get caught up in the quality of the woods used and the eveness of the splicings etc and we forget the most important things: is it a good player and can we play with it!!

Just wondering, how many of you know of Peradon's Cuewizard tool? With this great tool, you can design your own cue, within the ranges available, and see the finished result! You don't have to order with them, but you can use Cuewizard to give yourself a good idea of the look of a cue. I've used it many times for friends and myself, and the resulting images have helped many people to choose the final design of their cue. The only big problem, as far as I'm concerned, is that their is no cocobolo available in their woods for splicing section!
