Splice finger - this is where some sort of lighter would got trapped in the ebony grain. Not sure how this happened. Pic on right is after another cue maker did his work.

Tip protector - some dirt marks after installing a titanium ferrule on the left. Pic on right is after been cleaned up by cue maker.

Splice finger 2 - left shows deep scratches left in the ebony after Travis worked on cue. Pic on right is where cue maker got them out.

Splice finger/shaft - I've circled in blue the square mark where I assume he has clamped the cue into the lathe without a collor and left a "perfect" rectangle indentation. It has also been fixed.

Ferrule - the little black dot is an indentation where Travis bodged the tenon. The ferrule isnt even on straight. If you feel around the shaft and ferrule with your thumb and index finger, its not even flush and you can feel where it is lopsided.
