  • Using your own ash?

Hi all, this is probably a daft idea....but I have an Ash tree in my garden that needs to come out. Is it worth saving a piece to make a cue from? I like the idea of a memento of the tree, but assume given its not anything special it's probably not worth the effort? Plus it would have to be dried, etc. etc.?

Maybe some sort of geographical restriction? No idea where balkend lives but it could be something like that.

I'd keep it. Whatever I couldn't use for a cue, furniture or whatever would go on the wood burner.
