Hi all my name is Ali, this is my first post here. The . between the 14 and 7 is basically because I usually make teens before I just miss.
I came across this site, I've spoken to the guy on the phone. I'm probably going to head over to his workshop or stock room (or wherever they operate from) towards the end of next week.

They also make cues for really reasonable prices, maybe too reasonable. I need to upgrade my cue, I'm thinking of going with the titanium ferrule and they have one for 120, even though my budget is around 200, I was thinking of maybe getting that one to see if I like it or not and then buying a better quality one when I'm sure. But that seems like a silly waste of money.
If anyone can give them a good reference or I'm impressed with their set up I might go straight away for a custom made cue, which they say aren't more than £300.
Anyone got any advice, or alternatives. Either way at least I'll be able to take a look before I buy which should prevent me buying something I'm not happy with, but it's completely on the othe side of London, so maybe I can still avoid the hours it will take to get there and back.
