Laminated Cue falling apart

My current playing cue (laminated shaft) I've had for 2 years has 2 layers coming apart now from the top. Doubt it can be fixed and even if it could I wouldn't have the confidence to continue playing with it.

I look after my cues better than most. Feeling so undone now as I've played well with this cue.

Was under the impression this should never happen to laminated cues.
