Value my vintage powerglide cue please

Hello new to forum. I wanted to get a vakue on my late father's power glide rex willaims midas cue. He bought this in thr 70s I believe as I am 38 and he had it all my life . More to insure it as I still use it today. Many thanks

If it’s the type of cue I’m thinking of I wouldn’t bother insuring it. I bought one of the Rex Williams Powerglide range in 1983. Cost me about 40 quid. It’s a Purist and I’ve still got it but don’t play with it. The sought after cues from this range are The Conny’s (Connoisseur) on account of that type was the type Stephen Hendry used to win his world titles. They used to fetch a couple of hundred on e-bay years ago. They weren’t particularly good cues. As Alex Higgins once said……all right for growing tomatoes up….

See pictures mate apparently it was a top cue when he bought it around 35 pounds. I've used it all my life and love it .shorter but still very solid few top boys tried it and offered me good money but would not sell.. won't let me add pics said I am not authorised???
