Tamar cues

Hi all, i've won this nice Tamar cue on ebay. I have a vague memory that Tamar cues have a decent reputation, but was wondering if anyone had more info about them?

3 Piece snooker cue. Make Tamar with case. Old and used. In good condition | eBay

Can't say I've heard of them. Cue doesn’t look in great condition though to be honest. Needs a new ferrule, and there's at least 2 cracks running from the shaft joint. Also looks like someone's gone at the shaft near the ferrule once too often with the sandpaper. Not massive problems, but you'll probably spend more getting it fixed than you paid for the cue.

ah i think it's fine - i would re-oil the shaft anyway and the ferrule will polish up. The 'cracks' i think are just the lines of the splicing - they can sometimes be a bit pronounced. Not worried about any of that
