Hi, I've got a 1 piece Peradon cue - made on the custom cuewizard website about 2 years ago. It's a pretty good cue, cost about £750 as I remember, I chose the P80 grade ash shaft.
I've been happy with it the first year, but over the last year, even though the ash was supposed to be seasoned properly, it is moving at the top and is now slightly bent.
It lives in case, stored flat in a locker in a steady temperature room (around 19-22 deg), there are no heat sources even close to the storage area lockers, so it must be the wood that is drying naturally.
Also it recently started to rattle on shots, and it drives me mad - it's a one piece, the ferrule is not loose, and the tip seems to be ok, although it sounds like the rattle is coming from up the cue, not from the butt.
Anybody know if there are any weights in these cues or something that might rattle loose?
Cheers.
