Good morning, I have a problem with the balance point of the cue vs the weight, I would like to know your opinion on the ideal distance from the balance point, my cue has the balance point at 41cm from the butt, I feel it is a bit heavy and since I'm not tall my cue measures 1.41 meters... now a curiosity, my cue was weighing 450 grams, then I added 60g all at the end of the cue, the balance point only moved 2cm backwards and the cue was a lead, now I spread the weight over the entire rear, comfort has improved, now it weighs 500 grams, but the balance point is back to 41cm, should I tune the front more? would that help bring the balance back? Thanks in advance

Have a few questions first...
How are you changing the weight of the cue?
I will have to convert the weights and measurements, as I still use imperial for that...
Around 17-18 inches from the butt is what I go by and if I'm changing the weight, I still try to keep it in the same place. For that one you've always wanted...

A balance point of 41cm for a cue of length 141cm would correspond to about 43cm (17") for a 147cm cue (58"), as a reference. which is not that butt heavy. Your best bet is first to figure out which weight and balance feels right for you, then have your cue modified or change to a cue that feels better in your hands.
