  • cue maintenance

was hoping this would be allowed for us clueless ones to get help with sorting us cues.
firstly i have a maple cue with an ebony butt, however, the butt has a few cracks on it and feels quite rough. can i fill the cracks with woodfiller ? if so is the filler cue specific or will any do ? is there a brand that is recommended ? also when filler what level of sandpaper should be used ?
hoping many like me can use this to ask questions and the good guys will help and educate us.
have a few but would like this info first.
    thanks
