does anyone know how much it is to deliver a cue and who to use?
its a 1 piece cue I only want from the uk to the uk and they quoted me £28!!!!!!!
Try wedelivertheworld dot com, they sub-contract to DHL etc and are relatively cheap. Just be very precise when inputting the dimensions of the parcel as that can really change your quote.

Surprised no one else uses the post office. Pack the 1 piece in a plastic pipe and it costs less than a tenner by Special next day delivery insured up to £500. I've sent loads within the uk for as little as £6 S.D. The pipe itself cost £2 and does the job and they take good care of them with special delivery
£21!!!!!
I've used the post office for a tenner with a tube.
Cue could do with a refurb not sure weather to ask Trevor and go through the heart break and expense of posting there and back, Drive up to Kev Muncaster who works in the sticks and waste probably 2 days driving there and mucking about (could bribe wife who works in Preston) or be brave and get the sandpaper, wirewool and oil out and go for it.
I think the restriction is 1.5 m (something to do with the van)If you use a plastic pipe you cut it about 1 cm longer than the cue at each end so it measures 149cm and weighs less than a kilo

Hope it doesn't sound too stupid!! When you put the one piece cue in a plastic pipe do you wrap the cue in bubble wrap? Also is there anything special to protect the tip end of the cue? The reason im asking is that I have a cue to send uk to uk as well.
tThe major p.os round here take them up to 1.5m S.D and some of the small ones dont mind if you go over, but I suppose it depends where you live, postcode lottery lol

Doesn't need to be bubble wrap. Newspaper is fine. You can stop the tip end rattling by just stuffing a bit of newspaper in. The just put a load of tape at both ends

I wrapped mine in a load of kitchen roll then covered it in enough brown tape to wrap an anaconda!
Lot's of padding around the tip end!
