  • Looking for advise on a new custom cue

    Hi All,

Looking to get back into snooker again after an on/off break and deciding I need (more like want!) a new cue.

Specs im looking at are below:-

Machine or hand spliced (really dont care and weirdly quite like the look of machined)
    Ash shaft / ebony butt
    Titanium ferrule
    3/4
    59” length
    18.5oz weight
    30mm Butt diameter
    9.5mm tip
Flat butt with no veneers - just plain ebony (hate the fancy woods)

Other than that not really sure on how to go about it? Ive emailed or had a look at green baize, craftsman and cuecraft mainly.

    Any other recommendations?

    Price wise maybe £200-300

Was looking Phoenix and GBL as they have a good rep? But also a Ton Praram which would put me over budget but might go for it if its worth it?

Any advise would be great, thanks in advance.

If you find a readymade cue in your specs you can go with the above although TP3 are making dodgy cues is what I recently heard. For a custom made cue in that price range, contact Wity Bilston cues. He made me a Pear shaft cue. it is a stunning cue.
