Why pay for an Ultimate with 5 splices and 10 veneers which will set you back I don't know how much when you can get the same quality from Dave Coutts, Robin Cook, Trevor White or Tony Wilshaw for a fraction of the cost. Shop around!! You'll like what you see!

About the looks of the cue, I have to say that it'd probably look really nice! I'm not that big a fan of olivewood personally, but I think it looks very nice with white and purple veneers and the single ebony splice on top will give it a very striking, regal aspect. It's a very attractive choice, IMO. If you do decide to order it, please post photos when you receive it so's we can see what it looks like "in the flesh"!

I would certainly buy the Acuerate Legend Cue. A there's another superb brand you didn't put here: Tony Wilshaw Cues.

Question, are you the only person on this forum that likes acuerate? I've never heard anyone reccomend them before, i have however heard a lot of "why is hendry playing with that rubbish" comments... I think Andrews reply sums up what most people think of acuerate.

the reason your parris is a good one is because it IS TEN YEARS OLD , standards of his cues that are sold to joe public of the last 5 tears are nothing like the quality of the old ones,, i have a parris ambassador that is 10/11 years old and the quality is good,,,,i still play snooker at a decent standard , practice with some very good players,ex pros etc etc and represent my league in the interleague,,6/7 years ago there were alot of parris cues to be seen used by these players ,,not any more that is an indictment of the quality of his work now,,
