  • Anyone got experience of ordering from Mastercraft

Id be interested to here your experience of ordering. Their cues look good at around the Β£400 mark but I am hearing that the comms and delivery can be an issue. Has anyone got recent experience of this please?

I’ve had a few cues from them but not recently. Comms was a bit iffy at times but it seems to be par for the course with cue makers. E-mailing isn’t one of their skills.
Absolutely no problem with the quality of the cues. Still got one. Absolutely no problem with timescale either. Cues arrived pretty much when expected. The two guys who make the cues have been around for yonks so they know their stuff. They used to work for one of the other larger cue makers. Name escapes me atm.

      ...Lewis & Wilson

similar to Nifty, a few friends of mine some years back got some cues from these guys, good cues, good timescale, good value; but was some time ago.

They’ve got a Facebook page. New development since I made my purchases. Some nice cue photos. Also a photo of Dominic Dale with one of the lads. Dom gets his nose in everywhere there’s cues lol.

This was the first one I bought. Its called an Eclipse. The splice was olive wood which darkened after a while.

Every old mastercraft cue I've ever seen has looked lovely quality, it would be good to know if the standard is still maintained. Based in Wales aren't they? God knows how they are managing to survive these days but hopefully the artisan craft is still worth paying GBP for.

Excellent quality work and excellent value. I think it’s the norm that cue makers are quick on emails as they are busy making cues. If one of the guys were to take an hour a day to answer emails, social media that’s 5 hours a week that they’d spend on making your cue.
