I would save up if i where you, your gonna need a lot more than that if you want a half decent cue, especially with shipping.

Depends how seriously you wanna take the game.

Are there no retailers/importers near by?

Not that seriously...just wanna buy my own cue, not to borrow each time one from the club.

Also, anyone i asked told me not to buy a cue from Romania so that's why i wanna buy one online

Like Mellow says you can't get much good for that.
Look for an older 2nd hand Riley or BCE on flea bay. You may get one for a £10 will postage not be expensive?

if you just want a cheap cue to knock about with then yeah, just get one of those chinese ones off ebay. the build quality isnt very good, but i guess it beats playing with a club cue.

theres plenty of people that play good snooker with rubbish cues anyway... you dont need to spend a fortune, especially if its your first cue!

like these guys above have said, with that buget you're not going to get much of a cue, if i was in your situation, i would put a little bit of money aside and invest in a cue, O'min and Craftsman are both good cues in relation to money. Good luck on your search. :snooker::snooker::snooker:

Cheapest craftsman machine spliced costs about £60 without shipping.

I take it that's a joke? I'm new to snooker, and don't know my cues (My chinese cue from eBay hasn't even arrived yet!!) but a quick search of Hunt & Osbourne took me here: http://www.robertosbornecues.com/uk/cue_range.htm - Black label... If that means "Black plate" (On that site) then £550?

I'm sure if that was a joke, then I'm the butt of it by now but still... I was wondering if that was serious (And hence it must be some other cue) or just a joke.

If it was the cue on that webpage, I think even I'd send a tenner over for it Heh.

EDIT: Just seen snookerloopy's reply. I guess I am the butt of the joke
