  • decent quality 2-piece centre-jointed cue

    Hi all,

I'm after a good quality, 2-piece centre-jointed ash cue - ideally 57 inch, 18oz 9mm tip, plain ebony butt - not something that costs mega-bucks like an Osborne or a Parris, but maybe something like a Wilshaw or an Andy Gibbs? Absolutely must be centre jointed (i have nowhere to store anything bigger)

Has anyone got anything that they're thinking of selling?

I'm keeping an eye on ebay and Facebook market place but often are a) a Parris for 500+ b) not in these specs, or c) fairly cheap old riley or BCE models with veneers and tonnes of varnish....

    cheers, Jim

Have you thought about Argos 2 piece cues ? I know they'll be scoffed at but i was playing with one and it was fine, the metal inside the frame started to rattle after a month or two so i ditched it but it played fine.
Also the 5/8 jointed Argos cue, damn good cue, catalogue number 955/8302.
Beware though if you're interested in the latter they might try and give you a 3/4, I was buying a second one of these but gave it back as it was a 3/4 and got my money back.

Reckon you can get a peradon two piece for under £100. Check eBay, I sold one basic level for £70 recently, I thought it was a solid hit good quality cue.

Peradon do three models, Classic, Crown and Edwardian, all machine spliced and centre jointed, the Edwardian is the top of their centre jointed range around £250.
