My advice would be to stick with one cue and get a feel for it, i've recently bought a cue with a smaller tip for 8 ball pool and am finding my snooker cue feels bizarre to play with when I do get back on the big table!
Snookers like any sport, repetition is crucial and playing in consistent conditions gives the best chance of improvement - that includes, pace/condition of the table, cue, surroundings.
    Good luck!

That's the idea after reading all comments , but before making that decision I want to prove several that I have idealized and stay with the one that gives me the best feeling. My doubt is what to do with the second cue that convinces me the least, I suppose to sell it cheaply to a friend or have it as a spare (which I may not use for 10 years...)

      Thanks!

If you think there is something wrong with your cue could you ask one of the better players in your club to have a knock with it. Most players will be happy to help. If a good player says its OK, it more than likely will be, if not they will say why they don't like it.

I give each cue a decent run. At least 7 days worth of 1+ hour practice, unless it's horrible to use. Very rare. I bought a screw tip cue recently by accident, only cost £15 but I used it for a day and gave up completely. The better the cue the longer I use it before getting bored. Price isn't too important, my current cue was under £40 which I've done well with and I've left a £650 cue out of action for ages . It's more about having fun for me with a certain cue

I'll listen to you, I think it's smarter to buy only a good one and adapt to it.
I have managed to cancel the second order i had in Thai free of charge, so I will see how I adapt to the famous JP.

As a reserve I will keep the one I currently have. I hope I got it right!
