  • New Riley cue

    Hi people,

just getting back into the game after probably 30 years & thought I would treat myself to a half decent cue (that I could never afford back then)
I bought a Riley England Ebony which arrived with a few stickers on the butt. Four clear with white writing - qc checked, weight, that sort of thing, obviously these were all straight off. The other one is a hologram type sticker with "Riley" and a serial number on it. Would people remove this or leave it on as proof of validity?
just asking as not a big fan of unnecessary stickers...

    Cheers guys

If you're going to sell it, keep the sticker. If you're going to use it as your own, dump the sticker.

Nice one Merlin. Had a reply from Riley customer chat thingy saying basically the same. Its more proof that its a genuine cue for me rather than for any kind of warranty thing (which is weird, cosidering i bought it direct lol ). It's off now & didn't need to use anything nasty to clean the residue off so have a nice new shiny ash/ebony cue. First outing tomorrow night...

Same with me, I received riley england ebony and bce england cues with the same stickers, dumped them all and then I sell the riley england ebony without any problem, also received a cue from woods without those stickers
