Thanks for the reply. Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, £250 is far too rich for me at the present time... I'll eagerly await feedback from other members of the forum who I'm sure will get their hands on one in due course!

    Thanks again

Based on the comments that others have made about the quality of those cues, I wouldn't put the above tactics past them, either.

Who'd have thought buying a cue would be so difficult?*

As ever, I'd like to hear how it goes

Based on what I'm hearing/reading I'm tempted to stay away from the eBay Chinese ones, and with a similar budget to yours it'll be interesting to see what you pick up.

          Cheers.

This looks excellent, and you might get it for a bargain???

He has another cue for sale as well that looks just as good.

I'd noticed that too... Think we may start a little bidding war on here alone... Who knows where it might end

                      They are both quality gazza.

The guy selling them has been putting his cue collection on ebay over the past couple of months.
All his cues are beautiful, he obviously knows his stuff.
You can guarentee both these cues are top notch.

I would pay around £120 and feel that was fair mate.

I'd never pay that much for that cue. It looks very, very much like the cues that are sold by a guy in Scotland; he does up cues and sells "James Butter's Hand Made Cues" as well, no-one knows who makes these cues nor where come from. The cues sell on eBay from between £40 and £80 depending on bidding and I got one for a mate at £67. If I'd have been able to see the cue before, I'd never have gone as high. The cue was alright but not over £50worth.
