      Visiting Hunt&Osborne last Wednesday he had only 2 or 3 green plate on stock.
      But they were nice to handle, especially if you had only these cheap cues in pool halls with one or two snooker tables (in Gemany) in your hands before.

        Greetings from a fellow exiled Scot. What are you doing living with the Auld Enemy?! You're about as far away from home as you could be and still be in the UK!

        OK, back to cues: is there a cue-maker or a good snooker shop in Bournemouth? I don't know of anyone in your vicinity except Mike Wooldridge but he doesn't receive visitors. If you go to London then you'll only have H&O or Parris to see and they don't carry a lot of stock; H&O's stock cues are better than Parris', IMO, but they are generally less numerous! What you could do is go a bit further up North and see Dave Coutts and his selection of cues. He's in Lincoln and he's generally got a class selection of cues; you could also talk to him about getting a cue made and I'm sure he'd let you see some works-in-progress while you're at it! He's a really good bloke and a top cue-maker.

        Anyway, I hope this helps a little bit, if you want any other info or just a chat, then PM me!

        Keith

            @bmck:
            I can only remember one greenplate price and it was 325 GBP.
            Sorry having no more information.

            Greetings,
            Mats
