Yes...I remove the finish of the Robin,u can see the another Hunt & Osborne,
I want that kind finish,it is nature from the wood.Coz I have lot of sweat from my hand,and it will make the cue un-glossy like the photo I posted.
But the Hunt & Osborne,it will keep glossy even I have a lot of hand sweat.
Get my meaning?

Yes...U can see my Robin Cook is not the orginal finish,and the Hunt & Osborne too.It have a big difference between that 2 cue.
Can u see the finish on my Hunt & Osborne? It look like have a glossy layer on the wood,and it is so smooth,not like lacquer.
I afraid my english is so sh*t,hard to tell u and I don't know is that the right way.
Yes,it really a good finish that better than a new cue,I have make it for my other Hunt & Obyrne and other vintage cue.

1.Use 95%+ Alcohol to remove the finsih on the cue.
2.When u remove the finish,u must use a CLEAR towel and move straight from the tip to the end joint.Coz Alcohol will KILL the ASH if u don't wipe it straight.
3.Keep the cue in the wind around 10mins and use a clear towel to wipe the cue.U can see how dirty is your cue~!Coz alcohol will push out the drity things from your cue,like the dasty,sweat,chalk...
4.Use the cue oil to wipe your cue around 2~3 times a day,when it begin semi dry,clear it,and then re-oil again.Coz the oil will indraft some dasty or chalk into the cue again.
5.After 2~3weeks,u can see some wax will come out from the wood.
6.Use a towel to clear the cue Before / After your game.

I just share it to u guys,but I dont know is that a right way I go.
If anythings wrong,plz point out my mistake.

You certainly have a lot of nice cues.
I think you are basically applying many layers of oil on your cue, and burnish it time after time for a period of two to three weeks to achieve the finish you describe.
I hope I have understood you correctly.

When I finish my first batch of cues I would love to show you my finish. Hopefully the end of this month.

I now see what you were saying before, and the cues with your finish do look really nice! The most important thing is that you're delighted with your finish and you put in a lot of work to get them as you like them, I can see that.

Personally, I'd be very interested in seeing the best cues China can make, as we tend to see the not-so-good ones for sale over here, so if you want to post sme pics for us to see, that'd be great.

I always tell people that "I love cues more than snooker." I only play snooker around 3years,but I already owned around 30+ cue,and I am also a popular cue seller in HK (I Think).At the beginning,I just sell 2hand cue online,after I meet my parnter,I try to build up my business and open a cue shop with a club now.

LP is funny cue.Um...I have a little concept "Master is a cheaper John Parris then LP is the cheaper Master" The price range from 43GBP to 255GBP.(1GBP=11.8HKD) all cue are handmade.
