                          No, it's not better; it's a nice joint which goes 'phut' and is solid and stable which is what you want, but it's not better than any other good, solid joint.

                            thanks for clarification, I got one cue with the air lock joint but it seems something wrong. Guess this type could be not durable enough.

                              It depends who installed the joint, and who made it, if it's a quality joint or a poor copy and the treatment it's received as well. All the ones I've seen have been good, solid and durable.
