Bottom of your budget has to be a Mastercue or O'Min machine-spliced cue. O'Min in particular make a mean machine-spliced cue.

What do you have at the moment and what do you like about it and what do you not like? Also, where do you live in the UK? If you can let us know, then we can maybe give you some more precise advice.

          Cheers, Keith

I got a cue craft for my son on ebay second hand with case for £19 + postage but was lucky because it didnt come up under a search for snooker cue but came up under cue craft so many people didnt see it. so you can get some bargains on there.
Then i got one from ADR147 which was within your price range and is a lovely cue, look at it as an investment and always buy the best you can afford....I do that with everything and have found that you really only do get what you pay for, cheap immitations are usually tat whatever you buy.

Remember tho if you do get a 3/4 jointed cue with all your budget unless your old un was a 3/4 or one piece you will need a quality case to keep it in.

            Happy hunting pal.

I would advice you to try out a cue before buying online unless you are buying it from any reputed seller, Because at this price range the quality varies a lot.
I would avoid buying on Ebay bcoz its a hit 'n' miss thing.I believe Andrew [ADR147] has got some really good cues at this price range.

I don't know if there's anyone good near you, so I think your best bet is to contact ADR147 as he'll steer you right. Another possibility is to contact Dave Coutts of Coutts Cues; he's a good guy with a good selection of cues for all budgets. He'll be able to find you something good, as will Andrew!
