Ref the plates posted, I'm not getting anything, is it the same for everybody?

Cancel that, it's all clear now! Thanks, Mike

They're great! Thanks so much for taking the time for sharing, Mike. I really appreciate it, eh?

Keith, you had me scared for a minute there. I thought I was going to have to repost and I wasn’t certain how to cure the problem.

I have some friends in Vancouver, I hear it is a beautiful city. I wish we had their temperatures. The first three days of this week, our nights ranged between -35 to -40 degrees, without the wind chill and dammit it was windy. At -40 it doesn’t matter if you are using Celsius of Fahrenheit.

I have collected billiard(pool, snooker) for 30 years now. If something suits your fancy, let me know, I’ll see what I can do.

If you get the chance, go to Vancouver, it's a fabulous place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and only wish it could have been longer! The British Columbians are really friendly and welcoming and yes, the temperatures are really clement.

I don't envy you your temps; -35 and -40 sound slightly too cold for me, even without the wind!! The worst I ever had was -18 in Glasgow, which was alright actually, as there was no wind and no rain, so as long as you kept moving (!!) it was OK. Here in the North of France, it's never really cold, but it's always wet, so even at 1 or 2c it's uncomfortable.

Thanks for the offer; the things I'd be looking are mostly unusual chalks, like the NAAFI ones you posted. I'd never seen them before, and if you have any "spare" then that'd be coool, eh?

It's fun to see the things you've collected, thanks for sharing!

                Keith
