When I have time I update the website, couple of new joints being made at the moment, mainly for pool cues, but still talking to a few snooker people.
I will be contacting everyone in the trade with my new telescopic 1Klik extenders which I'm very pleased with.
Three bulk orders for stockists in the system, production starts next week in Germany.

1 Klik telescopic extension - Review

I had the pleasure to meet Stan and Simon and Joachim on tuesday in the factory where all his stuff is made. These are really nice guys, open and appoaching. You can really feel that they are absolutely convinced and enthusiastic with their system.

He showed me the 1klik joins in brass and stainless steel, as sinlge metal part and mounted to some cues.

The system is abolutely ingenius!
It is so simple and so perfect working!
Why wasn't that my idea?

At the first glance it looks like a bolt going into a simple hole. but with a little twist it is locked and absolutely stable.
Stan has now some customers mainly in the pool cue business and they are really convinced of it.
Tony Wilshaw seems to be the first Snooker cue maker who has already used the 1klik in his cues.

The newest product that will be launched in the next time is a telescopic extension.

Tony gave me one with the joint matching for my Trevor White cue.

So i am the first person in the world who has such an extension.

The telescope system is done with the 1klik system and it is really amazing.
You turn just a bit counterclockwise, adjust the lenght and turn clockwise a bit and it is firm!
It is not whippy, not jiggly, just FIRM even at the longest position.

This extensions will be available in four basic lenghts and with connectors to different types of butt joints.

I have added a few pictures here to give you an impression.

For sure I will have a cue with the 1klik joint in the future.

Thank you for your review.
After 6 months of prototypes the BB series extenders are now in stock both in Germany and the UK.
I will be updating my website today, with the 4 lengths available, with closed and extended dimensions.
I have already shipped stock to cuemakers in the UK, Italy and Australia, with further enquiries from the USA, Canada and China received this week.
I enjoyed our meeting and hope to see you again when I return to Germany mid April.

I've only just realised that the it's the telescopic element of the extender that's got the 1klik bit in it. I thought it was the joint between cue and extension. I see now that there's much more scope for post-fitting.

I think it is ideal to sell three unique items at once, your rest head on the
1klik extender, the female 1klik joint in the end of the cue with a short fixed rest with the male 1klik joint.
I will look at the k-rest when it arrives then forward it to Germany.

Unopened it is 5 inches (120mm) opened it is 7 inches (145mm)

i hate to be a pain but i am always honest so here goes,

i loved the simplicity of the design when i got the joint and i sent it to mike wooldridige who put it in a cue for me.

the first thing you notice is that its possible to join the cue in three different places so attention must be paid when using it. the second thing i noticed is that if connected on one of the other two positions the cue was not lined up correctly so the joint clearly is not as well engineered as it should be other wise the three positions would be the same?

now the real problem, when using the cue to play snooker there was a tinny high pitched sound from the cue caused because the two face plates of brass are not being pulled together so the cue is not solid in play and however many times i undid and redid the cue i could not make the joint tight enough to cure the problem. i even tried the cue on an 8 ball pool table thinking that maybe the weight of a snooker ball was just too much for it but even for that game it was impossible to use, its a clever design and a fasinating thing to use and i am sure there are many uses for it - rest heads would be one - but for me, from the one i was sent, it does not work in a snooker cue, sorry.
